PIKA Technology 가 Skype와 Asterisk PBX를 결합한 상품을 출시했다는 소식이 있었다. 일단 PIKA Technology라는 이름이 생소하지 않다. 필자가 한국에서 unPBX기반의 통신 시스템이 막 개발되기 시작할 때 처음 접했던 것이 PIKA에서 만든 Board였다. 지금은 대부분 NMS나 Audiocode를 많이 쓰고 있지만 98~99년에 PIKA Board도 많이 썼던 것으로 기억된다. 이 시점에 다시 PIKA라는 회사를 접하게 될 줄이야... 야후 보이스 메신저에 컨퍼런스 기능이 추가 되었다고 합니다. Skype는 소프트웨어 자체에 Conference 기능이 내장되어 있지만, 야후 보이스메신저의 경우 별도의 소프트웨어를 다운받아서 설치해야 이용할 수 있다고 합니다. 컨퍼런스 모듈은 Vapps라는 회사에서 공급한다고 하는군요..
