스카이프 엔터프라이즈 솔루션 출시 임박

스카이프가 엔터프라이즈 솔루션을 출시할 예정이고, 현재 테스터(Early Adptor)를 모집 중인 것으로 드러났다.
한 블로거가 자신의 블로그에 스카이프로부터 온 메일 내용을 공개하면서 이 소식이 전해졌는데, 이해를 돕기 위해서 해당 메일 내용을 퍼왔다.

이 소식을 듣고 GigaOM에서 Skype에 확인을 했는데, 위 내용은 사실이라고 한다.

메일 속에 언급된 기능을 살펴보면...

• Company-owned Skypename Creation : 회사(법인)명으로 Skype 계정을 만들 수 있다는 이야기로 들리는데.. 어떤 식으로 응용될지 궁금하다.
  
• Customisable to your coperate requirements : 회사 내부 IT자원과의 연동을 위해서 커스터마이징을 해 준다는 이야기로 들리는데.. 과연 그 내용과 수준이 궁금하다.
  
• Direct Technical support from Skype/Enterprise Network Compatibility : 이 내용만 보면 회사 쪽에 별도의 서버를 설치한다는 뉘앙스를 느낄 수가 있는데.. 스카이프가 어차피 P2P 방식이니까 아닌 것 같기도 하고.. 여튼 좀 더 지켜봐야 할 듯 하다.

기존 Skype for Business는 흔히 말하는 중소기업(SME)/SOHO를 대상으로 하고, Skype Enterprise는 1,000명 이상의 대기업을 대상으로 한 서비스라는 점에서 차이가 나는 것일까?

테스트를 위한 1,000명 이상의 기업체를 대상으로 Early Adoptor를 모집한단다.. 1,000명이라.. 정말 스카이프가 큰 회사가 된 듯 하다.
